Following on from their NODA award winning "Mikado", this year MPO take to
the stage in the light-hearted musical comedy: "The Murder at Shakerley
House," a tale of romance, blackmail, pies and a faked death, set against
the backdrop of the idyllic South Lancashire coal fields at the turn of the
last century. This new work combines tunes of the King of the Edwardian
musical, Lionel Monckton, with new libretto from Neil Edwards, author and
composer of MPO's 2007 production "The Lost Continent of Love".
Tickets are available from high street agents, members of the cast and crew
and via the ticket hotline, so book early for the chance to see a world
premier.
The Murder at Shakerley House is at the Village Hall, Milborne Port from 7th
to the 10th April 2010, commencing at 7:30pm.
